Suggestions to help make your video Special

Tell your videographer what is going to happen at your wedding. If there is something special that you want to include in the video be sure to mention it to the videographer. We appreciate a short note attached to the contract when you return it to us, listing items that are special in your wedding and any items that are especially important to you.
Make sure that the times provided to us on the contract data sheet are correct, and if there are any changes in those times, please give us a call and tell us about the changes. This is especially important if the Rehearsal time changes. We will always double check the the wedding day times with you at the rehearsal.
At all of the inside events where video will be captured, typically brighter is better. Many times in the desire to create a romantic atmosphere, the lights will be dimmed to a very low level. Remember, if you want great video a reasonable amount of light is necessary. During the service we do not use any auxiliary lighting because we do not want to distract from the service. The video of the service will be produced using whatever lighting level you choose in the church. Just remember, the darker the church, the less color and resolution will be captured in your video.
At all events other than the service, we will use auxiliary lighting if necessary. This will typically be accomplished using on-board camera lights. However, it is hard to capture candid video if the subjects need to be illuminated before the video can be captured.
Therefore, it is better, from a video standpoint, if the illumination level at the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and reception is kept at a reasonably high level. We expect the lights to be dimmed during the dance, but even then, if toasting, cake cutting, or the bouquet and garter toss take place, it would be helpful if the illumination could be increased during those events.
If you have any questions about your video production just ask and we will be glad to provide an answer.
